Ryan Miller, CPHR | Director and Owner
A Human Resources Generalist in both union and non-union environments, Ryan has 19 years of leadership experience in HR practices, as well as seven years experience in Labour/Management relations. He is Past-President of the Human Resources Management Association of Lethbridge. Ryan has had extensive involvement in the Southern Alberta business community, drawing upon his professional experience to effectively assist employers in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, retention, training, development, conflict resolution, and community relations. Ryan possesses expert knowledge in effective recruitment and retention strategies, creating opportunities for highly successful placements for clients. His key strength lies in his ability to think outside the box, and his dedication to meeting his clients’ staffing needs.


Tara Lennox, BSc | Business Development and Senior Manager
Tara joined the Select team in 2010. From RCMP to employment facilitator, Tara's diverse background gives her valuable insight into an array of industries, as well as the job market in Southern Alberta. In her current role with SELECT, Tara uses her experience to conduct effective recruiting, business development, top talent promotions, and excels at maintaining win-win relationships with valued clients. In 2015 Tara raised a tremendous amount of money for Strong Kids at YMCA by riding a stationary bike for more hours than anyone ever should. Somehow she was still smiling at the end of it!


Dave Kunst | Industrial Services Manager
Dave worked for eight years at Select until late 2014. After a nine month hiatus he has returned to the team and we started teasing him again like he had never left.


Mackenzie Smith | Professional Division Recruiter
Mackenzie joined our Select Team to lead recruitments for professional and technical positions with a focus in management and licensed trade candidates for clients in the manufacturing industry. Mackenzie comes to us with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Texas in San Antonio as well as recruitment / HR expertise and broad business management skills developed while supporting clients in the U.S. federal government. Having the opportunity to have lived in Canada, London, England (where she was fortunate to visit some 30+countries), Houston and San Antonio Texas, Mackenzie is happy to be back home. Mackenzie thrives on working with different cultures and backgrounds awarding her a highly beneficial skill set when forging valued long-term relationships with her clients. Her personal interests center around an array of physical fitness activity both through inside (spinning instructor/coach) and outdoor pursuits (boarding, skiing, surfing).


Samantha Friesen | Office Services Recruiter
Samantha aka Sam, joined the Select team in 2017, bringing over 5 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator and Administrative Professional in the Agricultural sector as well as a diploma in Legal Office Administration. Sam focuses on temporary and permanent placements in our Office Division. Sam definitely brings a smiling face and upbeat personality to our team.


Teresa Cavanaugh | Recruitment Consultant
Teresa joined the Select team in 2008, bringing over 15 years of experience as an Administrative Professional. Teresa focuses on temporary and permanent clerical placements in our Staffing Division. She excels at interviewing candidates, communicating with clients, and creating successful matches between our skilled candidates and valued clients. Teresa plays a critical role in the office: she knows how to re-program the phones. Rumour has it she can also make VCRs stop flashing.


Megan Thiessen | Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll
Megan joined the Select team in January 2014, just a few weeks after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelors degree in Management with specialties in Human Resources and Information Technology. Despite being a “city gal” during her university education, Megan grew up on her family farm near Bow Island so she especially looks forward to providing great customer service to the Agriculture and Industrial clients of Select People Solutions.


Kassandra Tait | Recruitment Assistant
Kassandra joined the Select team in 2016 after finishing her Administrative Office Professional Program at Lethbridge College. With that, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Lethbridge, she was welcomed into a career that would allow her to utilize both backgrounds. She is the backbone for the recruiters, designs Select’s newsletter, manages our social media, and brings a witty, mischievous sense of humour to the team!


Brooklyn Wickersham | Administrative Assistant
Brooklyn joined the Select team in 2017 after working for two years at Signature Homestyles. Her vibrant personality and ambitious attitude has been a welcome addition to the front desk. In charge of providing exceptional customer service with both clients and candidates Brooklyn ensures that our office is always running smoothly!


Moya Hansen-Deck | Executive Assistant & Accounting Supervisor, Teamwork Training Ltd.
Moya joined the company in 2013. Moya has a BBA (Accounting) from Camosun College in Victoria and a diploma in Finance. Despite living on the coast for many years she chose to move to this side of the mountains to pursue her dreams. Moya's real job title is Manager, Department of Awesome because, well, she is the awesomest.
